A 29 year old from Deckerville was hospitalized after he lost control and left the roadway in Sanilac County’s Moore Township. According to the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office, the man was traveling eastbound on Sanilac Road shortly before 3:30pm Monday. Deputies say he reached to grab an item that he dropped in his vehicle and left the roadway. His car overturned after striking an embankment. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. Authorities say he was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
