The City of Port Huron is reminding its residents that many transactions and city services can be accessed remotely instead of visiting the Municipal Office Center. According to City Manager James Freed, there has been an increase in COVID-19 cases among city employees, but that has so far not impacted services at city hall. However Freed is encouraging residents to utilize the city’s drive through, onsite drop box, and website for conducting business. Freed says reducing in person contact at the Municipal Office Center could help slow the transmission of COVID-19. City hall is open Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm. You can contact the city by calling 984-9700 or by going online to porthuron.org.
