Crude oil, gasoline prices start the week off lower

The cost of a gallon of gasoline has fallen 7-cents compared to a week ago. AAA of Michigan is reporting a statewide average of $3.25 for regular unleaded. The auto club says increased production by OPEC has lead to a decrease in the cost of a barrel of oil, which fell last week. The lowest prices in the state are in Grand Rapids at $3.13a gallon and Lansing where a gallon is $3.17. The highest prices are in the Marquettewhere it is $3.38 a gallon. Locally, Port Huron area pumps are around the $3.33 a gallon mark.
