According to the St. Clair County Road Commission, Marine City Highway between Starville and King Roads will be resurfaced starting August 23rd. There will be one way westbound traffic only during the duration of the project and eastbound traffic will need to follow the posted detour which includes Palms, Meisner, and King Roads. Construction is expected to be competed by September 10th. The project includes removing the top layer of asphalt and applying a new road surface. The $710,000 dollar project is being funded by state, local, and federal dollars and will be performed by Ace-Saginaw paving.
