Mask wearing in schools will be left up to districts to decide. That decision from Michigan’s Board of Education, which approved a resolution that supports allowing local school districts to make decisions about mask mandates. The board signed off on it yesterday. Governor Gretchen Whitmer has said she will not require masks in school but her administration has endorsed a recommendation from state health leaders for masking in school buildings.
