After a slight reprieve, gas prices in Michigan have rebounded to a new 2021 high price. According to AAA of Michigan, the current average daily gas prices is $3.30 a gallon which is 10 cents more than a week ago and $1.10 more than this time last year. The auto club says lower than normal gasoline supplies coupled with strong demand is pushing up prices at the pump. Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor have some of the highest prices for gasoline, while Flint and Jackson are among the lowest. Locally, pumps in the Port Huron Area are currently around $3.28 a gallon.
