Members of the St. Clair County Drug Task Force are announcing the seizure of nearly $25,000 dollars worth of drugs during a bust early Tuesday morning. According to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, authorities were investigating the sale of narcotics at the Comfort Inn on Hancock Street in Port Huron. Authorities attempted to make contact with the suspect, a 34 year old Port Huron Man, when he fled the scene. He drove through a chain link fence and attempted to make his way to westbound I-94 when he became stuck in the median. He then fled from his stuck car on foot where he was arrested by authorities. The suspect was booked in the St. Clair County Jail and is expected to face multiple drug related charges for crystal methamphetamine, analogue pills, and firearm possession.
