The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department has released the identity of the woman who drowned off of Harsens Island earlier this week. Authorities recovered the body of 70 year old Linda Pavia from the St. Clair River Wednesday. The Clay Township Police Department and Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the report around 11:30am. Pavia’s body was taken to an hear hospital where she was pronounced dead. Detectives say there was no sign of foul play and an autopsy will be performed to establish the cause of the woman’s death.
