Health department announces two additional COVID-19 exposure sites

Two St. Clair County food service establishments are being named as possible COVID-19 exposure locations. One patron and one employee at the Fraternal Order of Eagles on Howard Street in Port Huron have tested positive for the virus. Patrons who visited the Fraternal Order of Eagles between July 7 and 17th could of been exposed. The Eagles voluntarily closed for cleaning and has since reopened. An additional confirmed case has has been discovered in an employee at the Anchor Point Bistro in St. Clair. Patrons who visited the restaurant on Riverside Avenue in St. Clair on July 12th could have been exposed to COVID-19. Health officials say employees who worked closely with the individual have been quarantined and that the Anchor Point Bistro will voluntarily remain closed through July 27th. Those who may have been exposed at these locations are encouraged to monitor for symptoms and to seek testing if symptoms develop. COVID-19 symptoms include but are not limited to fatigue, cough, fever, chills, and shortness of breath.  A list of testing locations can be found online at https://www.michigan.gov/coronavirus. Last week it was announced that patrons who visited the River Crab July 5th-8th may have been exposed to COVID-19.
