A report says that Governor Whitmer will likely announce that Michigan schools will remain closed for the rest of the school year. According to Bridge Magazine, she’s expected to sign an executive order in the coming days to officially close public and private K-12 schools due to the coronavirus pandemic. While sources said it was not finalized, that order is expected to include details of some form of remote learning through the rest of the school year. Under the plan, high school seniors would graduate and other students would be promoted to the next grade.
