St. Clair County Community College says their May 8th commencement will be postponed, the latest campus event to be affected by the COVID-19 spread. SC4 says they will celebrate their 2020 graduates at the conclusion of the winter semester and will mail degrees directly to students. The amount of staff on SC4’s Downtown Port Huron Campus has also been reduced. The college says staff members will continue to perform essential functions via phone and email. All buildings on SC4’s campus will remain locked through April 5th or until further notice. All campus events have also been canceled through April 5th.
