The Almont Raiders suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday, falling 31-17 to Lansing Catholic in the Division 5 State Championship game at Ford Field. Jack Paupert rushed for 78 yards and a touchdown for the Raiders, while Zach Gillespie led Catholic with 2 TD passes and two rushing scores.
