
Croswell authorities are investigating a crash involving a semi-truck that hospitalized two with serious injuries. Police say the crash happened around 5:30pm at the intersection of Peck and Croswell Roads. A semi truck operated by Mark Noll of Croswell was traveling north on Croswell Road. It is believed the semi-truck suffered some sort of mechanical issue and was unable to stop at the intersection with Peck Road. The semi struck a westbound pickup truck driven by Joshua Walls also of Croswell. Fire crews responded and used the jaws of life to free Walls from the vehicle. He was taken to a Port Huron area hospital and later transferred to a Detroit area hospital for treatment. Noll, the driver of the semi, was also taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Croswell police and fire were assisted by authorities from Lexington, the Sanilac County Sheriff’s office, and the Michigan State Police.
