No. 18 Michigan State lost to Arizona State 10-7 on Saturday. Matt Coghlin missed three field goals, but one he made with 11 second left in the game, that would have tied the score, was negated by a too many men on the field penalty against MSU. Eno Benjamin scored on a one yard run with 50 seconds left in the game to put Arizona State in the lead. Brian Lewerke passed for 291 yards and Elijah Collins scored the lone touchdown for State. The Spartans play at Northwestern next Saturday.
