One injured in Labor Day crash

One was injured following a two vehicle crash Monday afternoon near Lexington. The Sanilac County Sheriff’s Office reports 85 year old Ronald Stablin of St. Clair was turning south onto M-25 from Oak Street in Worth Township Monday when he is said to have pulled into the path of a southbound vehicle operated by a 46 year old Croswell man. Stablin taken to an area hospital for treatment, the other driver was not injured in the accident. Sheriff’s deputies say alcohol is not believed to be a factor and the subjects were both wearing their seat belts. Investigations are ongoing.
