No. 7 Michigan opened the college football season on Saturday with a 40-21 win over Middle Tennessee. Zach Charbonnet rushed for 90 yards and Shea Patterson threw three touchdown passes for the Wolverines. Michigan is home to Army next Saturday, with a noon kick at the Big House.
