Philadelphia pitchers tossed 18 straight shutout innings to close out a two game series in Detroit. The Phillies blanked the Tigers 4-0 on Wednesday afternoon to sweep the series. JT Realmuto and Nick Williams each hit a home run for Philadelphia. The Tigers head west to open a four game series in Seattle on Thursday night. That will start an eleven day, ten game road trip.
