The Michigan Attorney General has executed a search warrant on the Archdiocese of Detroit in connection with its clergy sexual abuse investigation. The Archdiocese has said they will fully cooperate with authorities. The Bill Schuette’s office recently announced an investigation into the handling of sexual abuse allegations in Michigan’s seven Catholic dioceses. Church officials say they welcome the investigation as part of a  “commitment to transparency and healing.”
