A Wednesday morning accident along the St. Clair-Macomb County line has claimed the life of a Berlin Township Man. According to the Michigan State Police, a pickup truck struck an SUV at the intersection of Bordman and Miller roads north of Armada and west of Memphis. Authorities say the pickup truck driver did not stop at the stop sign at the intersection. A 61 year old Berlin Township man who was the driver and lone occupant of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. A 24 year old Lake Orion man driving the pickup truck was taken to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries. Police are say alcohol or drugs may have played a factor in the crash and investigations are ongoing.
