Port Huron Schools to celebrate renovations

Port Huron Schools is inviting the public to get a look at some of the recent remodeling that is wrapping up at several district buildings. The work was funded by Phase II of the “Building Tomorrow Today” bond proposal that was passed by voters in 2016. Among the buildings celebrating a grand reopening are Indian Woods Elementary who will have an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony October 9th at 5:45pm. Also next week, Thomas Edison and Keewahdin Elementary Schools will have events on October 11th at 5:45 and 6:30pm, respectively. Finally, Central Middle School will debut it’s new S.T.E.A.M.
