Down 30-14 in the 4th quarter the Lions had a chance at a comeback fall short, in a 30-27 loss at San Francisco on Sunday. Matt Stafford passed for 343 yards and three touchdowns, while Golden Tate caught seven passes for 109 yards. The Lions (0-2) return home next week to host New England in the Sunday Night Game at Ford Field.
