Matt Chapman and Khris Davis each hit a home run in the 3rd innings as the Oakland A’s edged the Tigers 2-1 on Saturday night. Jeimer Candelario had two hits and drove in the only Detroit run. The Tigers will try to avoid a sweep in the three game series on Sunday afternoon, when the teams play again in Oakland.
