For the second night in a row the Tigers tried to mount a come back in Kansas City, but on Tuesday night the rally fell short in a 5-4 loss to the Royals. Down 5-0 at one point the Tigers drew close on a three run home run from Victor Martinez and an RBI from Jeimer Candelario. The Tigers and Royals have split two games in a three game series which will wrap up on Wednesday afternoon in Missouri.
