Paige Ameel pitched seven strong innings allowing a run on five hits, while striking out eleven batters, as Marysville beat Port Huron Northern on Wednesday in softball 5-1. Ameel added two hits and an RBI, while Anna Herr also had two hits and an RBI for the Vikings. Grace Lucas had two hits for Northern and drove in the Huskies only run.
