The New Haven boy’s basketball team has reached the Class B semi-finals of the MHSAA playoffs, after beating Bridgeport on Tuesdya night 78-72. Ronald Jeffrey III scored 29 for the Rockets, while Romeo Weems and Tavares Oliver Jr. each added 13 points. Charles Garrett kept the Bearcats close with a game high 36 points. New Haven has is now (26-0) and has won 52 straight games going back to last season when they won the title. Up next is a trip to the Breslin Center on Friday to face Grand Rapids Catholic.
