The Red Wings played well and kept it close until late, but lost their 8th straight game on Thursday night, 4-1 to the Kings in Los Angeles. Gus Nyquist scored the lone Detroit goal in the game. The Wings continue a trip out west on Friday night, when they face the Ducks in Anaheim at 10 PM.
