The Detroit Red Wings opened a five game road trip with a 3-2 loss in Columbus on Friday night, the sixth straight loss for the Wings. Darren Helm and Andreas Athanasiou scored for Detroit, who play their next four game out west, beginning Monday night with a game in San Jose.
