The girl’s basketball playoffs opened with an upset on Monday night, as Port Huron High beat Port Huron Northern in overtime 52-49 in the class A district at Northern. Nicole Mallory scored 19 for the Big Reds, who will face Anchor Bay on Wednesday night. Sami Klink led Northern with 22 points.
