About three inches of snow fell in in the Port Huron area Thursday night and early Friday morning, causing most St. Clair County Schools to close and many weather related accidents. The most snow can be found in Oakland County, where over eight inches fell near Pontiac. 62,000 DTE customers don’t have power this morning after heavy wet snow hit southeast Michigan on Thursday. The outages are concentrated in Macomb, Oakland, Wasntenaw, and Wayne County. DTE expects to have most customers’ power restored by the end of the day today. Only a handful of isolated outages were reported in St. Clair County, mostly in Kimball Township.
