A weekend car crash claims the life of of one and sends several to the hospital. The St. Clair County Sheriff’s office says a Pickup collided with a Dodge Caravan on Lapeer Road in Kenockee Township Sunday evening. The pick-up had four passengers including three young children. A 47 year old woman was one of the passengers in the truck and was pronounced dead at the scene. The children and driver of the truck were taken to an area hospital for treatment. The driver of the caravan was also taken to the hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. The Sheriff’s department says road conditions likely played a factor in the accident which remains under investigation.
