
A series of drug busts being reported this past week in various parts of the county by the St. Clair County Drug task force:
On Tuesday the 9th, a Clay Township traffic stop resulted in the seizure of heroin and crack cocaine and the arrest of three women and one man. Two of the women are also facing charges of smuggling narcotics into the St. Clair County Jail. That same day, a residence in the 5600 block of Lapeer Road in Kimball township was searched. Over $10,000 dollars of drugs, including methamphetamine, analogue pills, and LSD were found. A 35 year old Port Huron man was arrested and is housed in the county jail facing a multitude of drug charges.
On Wednesday, an investigation into cocaine sales in Port Huron lead to a bust in the 1600 block of 23rd street. $10,000 dollars in cocaine was seized by Drug Task force authorities and a Port Huron man was arrested.
And then on January 11th, a smoking garbage bag in the City of Memphis was found to contain components of a meth lab. DTF and Memphis Police searched a home in the 80000 block of Main Street in Memphis where 31 one-pot meth labs were located and dismantled. Two women from china township were arrested, facing charges of operating and maintaining a meth lab as well and operating and maintaining a drug house.
