Anchor Bay edged out Port Huron Northern 2-1 on Thursday night in high school hockey action at McMorran. Colin Day scored the game winning goal with 5:01 left in the third to break a 1-1 tie for the Tars. Tyler Provencher had a goal and an assist in the win. Nolan Shagena scored the lone goal for Port Huron Northern on a second period power play. Matt Smith made 28 saves in goal for Anchor Bay.
