Shots fired in the overnight hours Friday result in authorities seizing a variety of drugs. St. Clair County Sheriff’s deputies say it happened around midnight in the 5100 block of Griswold in Kimball Township where shots were reported in an attempted armed robbery. The investigation lead deputies to a home in Port Huron Township where two men, a 20 and 21 year old from Detroit, were arrested. A search of the residence found quantities of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, and a stolen weapon. The Sheriff’s office says the shooting was a result of a dispute over money. Both men are lodged at the St. Clair County Jail waiting arraignment on attempted armed robbery, and possession of a firearm by a felon, among other charges.
