The Detroit Red Wings have won their first two games of the season, after stopping Ottawa 2-1 in shootout on Saturday night in Ottawa. Martin Frk scored in regulation for the Red Wings, while Jimmy Howard made 37 saves in goal. Detroit plays at Dallas on Tuesday night.
