The Detroit Tigers closed the season with a 5-1 loss in Minnesota on Sunday. Alex Presley hit a home run for Detroit, who finished tied with the San Francisco Giants at (64-98) for worst record in baseball. The Tigers, based on a tie breaker, will get the number one overall selection in next JUne’s MLB draft. The game also marked the end for manager Brad Ausmus, who will not be back with the team next season.
