
Leading 8-4 the Detroit Tigers saw their lead evaporate on Tuesday night, in a 9-8 loss to the Oakland A’s. Jed Lowrie hit a go ahead grand slam home run off Alex Wilson in the 8th to put the A’s in front for good. Lowrie had five RBI. The game featured six home runs, including three by the Tigers, as Ian Kinsler, Alex Presley, and Nicholas Castellanos all went deep. Presley had four hits and James McCann drove in three runs. The final game of a three game series is set for Wednesday afternoon at Comerica Park.
