The Oakland A’s opened a three game series in Detroit, beating the Tigers 8-3 on Monday night. Ian Kinsler hit a home run and drove in two runs for the Tigers, while Nicholas Castellanos extended his hitting streak to 15 games with three hits. Game two of the series is set for Tuesdya night at Comerica Park.
