Former Port Huron High standout Mark Chapman caught eight passes for 168 yards and three touchdowns, including a 75 yard score, as Central Michigan beat Kansas 42-27 on Saturday.  Eastern Michigan upset Rutgers 16-13.  It was the first time the Eagles had ever beaten a team for the Big Ten in 39 tries, and Eastern first win over a power five team in 59 games.  Marysville’s Brady Beedon made five tackles, four solo, and one for loss in his first career start for Wayne State.  The Warriors however, lost 31-28 to Indianapolis on a field goal as time expired.
