Justin Verlander had an RBI single and tossed six strong innings on Wednesday, as the Tigers won 6-2 in Colorado to take two out three in that inter-league series. Verlander allowed just one run on three hits, while walking just one, and striking out nine. James McCann hit a three run home run and Nicholas Castellanos added a solo home run for the Tigers. Detroit is back in action on Friday at Comerica Park, when they play a day/night double header with the Cleveland Indians.
