Arete’ and Earth Voyager both had to drop out of the 2017 Mackinac Race on Saturday do to equipment problems. Both yachts were blazing up the course well out in front of the fleet. Arete’, owned by Rick Warner of Marine City was on a pace to reach the Island in what would have been a record smashing 13 hours.
