The 2017 Bell’s Beer Bayview Mackinac Race is underway. 206 yachts were registered in 16 divisions, that set sail in 14 starts that began at 11:30 AM on Saturday and continued on schedule every ten minutes until the final start at 1:40 PM. The starts saw rain but mostly mild breezes. The first expected finishers should arrive at Mackinac Island on Sunday.
