
The Kansas City Royals had four innings in the first, third, sixth, and eighth on Thursday night, in a 16-4 romp over the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers made three errors in the first inning, getting Michael Fulmer off to a bad start. Fulmer allowed eight runs, five earned, on seven hits, in less than three innings of work to take the loss. Ian Kinsler drove in two runs for the Tigers, who split a four game series in KC. Detroit will begin a three game series in Minnesota on Friday night.
