Michael Fulmer tossed 8 and 2/3 innings on Thursday as the Detroit Tigers beat the Kansas City Royals 7-3 to take two of three in their mid week series. Justin Upton hit a three run home run, Andrew Romine a two run home run, and Ian Kinsler a solo home run, to provide the offense for the Tigers. Detroit will open a four game home series with Cleveland on Friday night at Comerica Park.
