The Richmond softball team has reached the semi-finals in the division 2 state high school tournament, in their bid to repeat as champs. Richmond beat Dearborn Divine Child 4-2 on Tuesday in the quarterfinal played at Novi. Carley Barjaktarovich had three hits, and Erin Shuboy struck out 13 in the victory. For the second year in a row, Richmond will play Escanaba in the semi-final game at Michigan State University on Thursday.
