The Tigers jumped out to a 3-0 lead on Friday, but lost 5-3 in Boston to the Red Sox. Alex Wilson got just two outs in the bottom of the eight inning, while allowing three runs on four hits, to take the loss against his former team. Nicholas Castellanos, Miguel Cabrera, and Mikie Mahtook each had an RBI for the Tigers. Game two of a three game weekend series is Saturday night at Fenway Park.
