Tigers bats woke up in a big way on Friday night, as Detroit returned home from an 11 game road trip and blasted the Chicago White Sox 15-5 at Comerica Park. Mikie Mahtook, JD Martinez, and John Hicks all hit home runs in the win. Miguel Cabrera added three hits and four RBI, Dixon Machado had two hits and three RBI, and Jose Iglesias picked up three hits and scored four times. Game two of a three game series is Saturday afternoon in Detroit.
