The Texas Rangers extended their current win streak to ten straight on Friday, with a 5-3 win in Detroit over the Tigers. It was the first game of a three game weekend series between the teams. James McCann and Andrew Romine drove in runs for the Tigers, who send Justin Verlander tot he mound in game two on Saturday night.
