The Detroit Tigers got six shutout innings from Matt Boyd on Tuesday, and beat the Minnesota Twins 2-1 at Comerica Park. James McCann provided all the offense for Detroit, belting a two run home. The Tigers and Twins meet again on Wednesday afternoon, in the second game of a three game series.
