They blew a four run lead in the top of the eighth, but the Tigers rallied in the bottom of the inning for a 6-5 win over the Boston Red Sox on Friday in the home opener at Comerica Park.  Mikie Mahtook had a pinch hit RBI double to tie the game, and rookie Jacoby Jones earned a bases loaded walk to drive in the go ahead run for the Tigers.  James McCann had a two run home run and Victor Martinez knocked in the other two Detroit runs.  Tigers starter Michael Fuller tossed six shutout innings, but got no decision in the game.  Pablo Sandoval hit a three run home run for Boston.  Game two of a four game series is set for Saturday afternoon.
