The Marine City girl’s basketball team (11-1) suffered its first loss of the season on Tuesday, falling 40-35 at Marysville (10-4). The Vikings have won five in a row. Kiara Kelley had ten for the Vikings, while Stephanie Abraham had 12 for the Mariners. In other girl’s action, Port Huron Northern beat Romeo 44-28, as Bree Bauer scored 16 and Kathleen O’Connor added 11 for the Huskies. Marysville boy’s beat South Lake 59-45. Dylan Kiger had 20 for the Vikings and Ross Hinkley added 17.
